Scholarships and grants
Academic excellence grants covering tuition fees
LUSEM’s excellent contacts with corporations and organisations provide the School with quite a large number of scholarships. In 2019, Lund University School of Economics and Management offered 24 scholarships within the Lund University Global Scholarship programme.
The Lund University Global Scholarship
The Lund University Global Scholarship is an academic excellence award targeting top students outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. You can apply for a scholarship after you have completed your Bachelor's or Master's programme application.
Lund University attracts high-achieving students from all around the world, and the Scholarship programme seeks to recognise these students by awarding academic excellence grants.
Scholarship recipients have a proven record of achieving consistently high grades in their previous studies and are assessed as being a good fit for our programmes. The scholarship is selective, competitive and merit-based.
The scholarships are granted toward tuition fees only – living costs are not covered. As a scholarship recipient, you must still be able to fund your living costs, as per the requirements of the Swedish Migration Agency.
Scholarship grants may cover 25%, 50%, 75% or up to 100% of the tuition fee.
Who is eligible to apply?
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must meet the following two criteria:
- You are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland, hence required to pay a tuition fee
- You have completed the application to one of our Bachelor's or Master's programmes
How to apply
To apply for a Lund University Global Scholarship, you must first apply to the programmes of your choice via the University admissions website. Once you have completed the application and paid the application fee, you will receive an application form for the Scholarship Fund by email, including further instructions.
The selection process for scholarships is undertaken in parallel with the programme selection process. Priority is given to applicants with high academic performance who demonstrate a strong commitment and desire to study at Lund University School of Economics and Management by explaining how your studies will be a part of your future career development.
