Welcome! Below you find some useful library information.
To avoid crowding we appreciate if you have done the following before you come to the library.
1. Student account
All students at Lund University receive a student account when they start. You use it to log in to a number of electronic services and resources.
2. LU card
The LU card is your library card and access card. On the LU card web site you will find information on where and when to get your card.
3. Library account
To borrow books you need a library account. Go to the library catalogue LUBcat and Register a new account. Log in with your student account.
4. Find your books
Please find the books that you need in our library catalogue LUBcat before you come to the library. In LUBcat you can see where the book is placed. For example, if the location is "Ekonomihögskolans bibliotek" and the shelf is "Kursbok...", the book is placed in our course book collection. If we have no available copies you can put yourself in the queue.
How do I get help if I have reading difficulties?
If you have dyslexia, vision impairment or other reading difficulties you can contact the library for help with obtaining adapted course texts, such as talking books.
The library computers are equipped with support software. You can also install these on your own computer.
Where can I study?
Due to the Coronavirus, you can't study in groups at the library. We have places for individual study.
Where do I find course litterature?
In the LUSEM Library, you can find course books within all of the school's subject areas. We have at least one reference copy and usually a number of books which you can borrow.
See where the course book is placed in the library catalogue LUBcat. Fetch the book on the shelf, and register the loan in our self service machine. If the book you want is already out on loan, you can queue for it. The loan period is two weeks.
Where do I find digital material, such as e-books, articles and databases?
LUBsearch is the joint entry point to our library resources. Here you find articles, journals, dissertations and books.
Log in with your student account to access the resources.
