What did you study at LUSEM and what do you do now?

I studied MSc Business & Economics (Civilekonomprogrammet) and MSc International Marketing & Brand Management, graduation year 2014.

Now I'm working as Head of Communications at a company called Minut, in London UK. 

Viktoria, tell us a bit about yourself!

I'm born and raised in Skåne but with international dreams and ambitions from a young age, so I knew that I wanted to live and work abroad. I fell in love with big city life after having lived in NYC and later felt that London would be the perfect place to start my career in. 

What drew you specifically to London and how is life there? 

London has the perfect mix of big city life and everything that has to offer, accessibility to all parts of the world and an eclectic mix of ambitious and inspiring people. It's fast-paced and there's always tons of things going on, which makes life exciting and a bit tiring (I'm old now). The Swedish community, which is very big and active here, has also had a great impact on my London-life. I've met so many inspiring people through the community that are now some of my closest friends. 

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I've moved homes 8 times during my years in London and most often the move has been done in an Uber XL.

What did you study at LUSEM and what do you do now?

I studied Msc in Economic History, graduation year 2011. Currently, I'm working as a Senior Manager at Gravitas in London, UK.

Jonathan, tell us a bit about yourself!

I'm from a town just outside of London and did my undergraduate at Leeds University. A chance encounter made me apply for an Erasmus Exchange at Lund University, which was the best decision of my life. I later returned to do a masters there and I am still in touch with many people I met in Lund during those experiences.

What drew you specifically to London and how is life there? 

I have always wanted to work in a big city where you are never short of things to do. I love that I can work my day job, hop on a tube to see a mid-week West End musical show and be back home for bedtime.

Life can be hectic in London, too hectic sometimes but there are quieter scenic places one can go for moments of solitude. I love Richmond Park in West London for this.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I was heavily involved in Lunds nation and came back for Finnballen for 5 years after graduating there. Needed to give the Frack a good workout!
