The Department of Business Administration is part of the Lund University School of Economics and Management, one of Lund University's eight faculties.

Founded in 1666, Lund University is one of the largest, oldest and broadest universities in Scandinavia consistently ranked among the world's top 100 universities. Lund University has an excellent academic reputation, shown in the current ranknings with a large number of visiting professors and international students.

At Lund University around 42 000 students have chosen to study and we have around 7 500 employees, working in Lund, Malmö and Helsingborg.  

Lund University School of Economics and Management is an EQUIS accredited member of EFMD since 2001, having met the high standards of the European Quality Improvement System – EQUIS. In June 2014 the School of Economics and Management got a five year accreditation. More than 4 000 students and 400 researchers, teachers and other staff members study and work at the School. 

The Department of Business Administration has around 2 500 students while there are around 175 employed and affiliated researchers, teachers, PhD students and other staff members working at the department.  

The Department is closely connected to the surrounding industry and based in the heart of the university campus, near the vibrant Ideon Science Park. Situated in the expansive Øresund region and well-reputed city of Lund, where two of Europe’s largest research facilities, Max IV and ESS, will be realized within teh near future, the department procures important influences valuable in the conduct of high quality education and cutting-edge research.
