The Hans Pihl (Deloitte) Scholarship for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of 2012

The Hans Pihl (Deloitte) Scholarship for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of 2012 was awarded Karin Holmqvist and Tanja Woldenga from the Master's programme in Entrepreneurship, for excellent academic results as well as demonstrated entrepreneurial skills.

Scholarship holder Karin Holmqvist

studied the New Venture Creation track of the programme and was awarded the scholarship with the following announcement:

"for excellent academic results during the Master's programme in Entrepreneurship of 2011-2012 (track New Venture Creation) as well as demonstrated project management skills shown in the development of her business project.

Karin has, together with her fellow student Catrin, developed a high value, innovative product for the insurance industry. Despite the conservatism in the insurance industry Karin, and her running mate Catrin, has been successful in building their business case and are very close to closing a high value deal with an insurance company. Karin has shown clear leadership qualities and reflective analytical skills, which has been crucial for the development of the project."

Scholarship holder Tanja Woldenga

studied the Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation track of the programme and was awarded the scholarship with the following announcement:

"for excellent academic results during the Master's programme in Entrepreneurship of 2011-2012 (track Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation) as well as demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills in the development of her Internship project.

Tanja has shown a considerable driving force and leadership skills while, together with her project group members, developing a new business model for the exploitation of unique knowledge possessed by a high-tech company. Tanja’s Master´s thesis has added to our understanding of how strategies are formed and developed by entrepreneurs."

Both students were awarded a scholarship of 50.000 SEK.
